Deep Tissue Massage - Comparable to a Swedish massage. Focusing on knots and reduces chronic muscle tension. Using cross fiber strokes (against muscle grain) and deep pressure may cause a slight discomfort and soreness that can last up to several days before yielding the desired results of pain relief and relaxation. Clients with Fibromyalgia, Edema, Muscle Cramping, and Carpal tunnel syndrome can greatly benefit from this massage.
Swedish Massage - Focusing on relaxation this massage uses long flowing strokes that increase oxygen flow within blood and releases toxins from muscles. This massage also reduces recovery time from a strain by helping to eliminate lactic acid, uric acid, and other wastes from the body. stretching associated with this massage helps reduce muscle injury and stimulates both the skin and nervous system. many clients use this massage as a regular program for stress management and many specific medical uses.
